Consulting & Curriculum Development

With tailored collaboration, schools co-create programmes and resources aligned to their goals. The result is stronger teaching practice and deeper student learning.

Design for Change Singapore partners with schools to co-create tailored curriculum solutions and provide strategic consulting that strengthens teaching and learning. Our approach focuses on integrating Design Thinking, project-based learning, and student agency into existing programmes, helping schools align with 21st-century learning objectives and foster the I CAN mindset in every learner. Rather than offering off-the-shelf solutions, we collaborate with educators to design strategies that fit each school’s context, priorities, and student needs.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Through our consulting and curriculum development work, schools benefit from:

  • Customised curriculum frameworks that embed empathy, creativity and problem-solving.
  • Practical guidance on implementing project-based and experiential learning initiatives.
  • Strategies to support teachers in facilitating student-led inquiry, reflection, and action.
  • Tools and frameworks for assessing student learning outcomes and measuring impact.
  • Insights into scaling innovative programmes across grades or departments for consistent, school-wide adoption.

Our team brings extensive experience in education strategy, programme design, and capacity building, ensuring solutions are both innovative and practical. Schools working with DFC Singapore gain a partner who understands the challenges of modern classrooms and can translate ideas into actionable plans.

By engaging in consulting and curriculum development with us, schools empower their educators to create meaningful, impactful learning experiences. The result is a vibrant learning environment where students develop confidence, agency, and the competencies to navigate complex challenges, while teachers are supported to lead innovation and inspire growth across their school community.

I CAN Whole School Approach

I CAN Whole School
  1. How might we create a genuinely student-centric school with competing priorities and success pathways?
  2. How do we sustain this effort of ‘I CAN’ in our existing school system? What does it take to get there?

Our I CAN SCHOOL approach

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

Fostering a child-centric environment that enhances learning experiences, improves processes, and identifies opportunities within the school.

This includes, but is not limited to, curriculum, pedagogical practices, processes, relationships, and spaces.

We engage with students, teachers and school leaders to research, co-design and iterate based on context, ensuring the solutions are user-centric, relevant and have the buy-in of all involved.
