FIRST EVER VIRTUAL GLOBAL ‘BE THE CHANGE’ CELEBRATION
A ONEderful World by Design, the first ever virtual Global ‘Be the Change’ celebration. This festival of change makers from around the world is being hosted by Design for Change Singapore on the 20th November 2020, United Nations World Children’s Day.
The event is a global celebration of children around the world that invites them to share their real change stories and how their actions create real impact. Celebrating these superheroes as agents of change, ‘A ONEderful World by Design’ aims to showcase the I CAN solutions of the children, led by them with all their heart as a humanitarian effort to create a ONEderful world.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
A day filled with INSPIRATION, DESIGN & CELEBRATION
‘A ONEderful World by Design’ provides opportunities to children, educators, government officials, social sector professionals and business persons from over 50 countries. The festival is made up of multiple sessions including Inspiration, Designovation and a Global Celebration.
1. INSPIRATION
Over 3 sessions set in 3 regional time zones, 100 of our superheroes aged 8-15 years old from more than 25 countries share how they are making the world a better place through their ideas and action using the simple 4- step FEEL-IMAGINE-DO-SHARE design thinking process.
Panel Discussions: Experienced speakers will hold multiple panel discussions bringing to light and drawing together the importance of collective actions.
2. DESIGN A STORY
Design a Story: One hour long intergenerational co- creation lab where children, educators, government, social sector and businesses join in creating a ONEderful world together. 30 interactive sessions that envision together, using design thinking, a story of their ONEderful world. These stories will be compiled in an e-book of ONEderful World, by design.
3. CELEBRATION
Global Celebration: A half hour of celebration with over 300 children from over 50 countries, rejoicing in their united power and the spirit of collective action to change the world, together.
